if i remember rightly I first saw this in a 4x4 Australia issue about 10 years ago, if not there definatley was a thing in the news section on a newly designed CV joint. But this looks very similiar to it.

I'd buy one for sure considering a new standard CV joint is going to cost me $800!
I like the no dust boot idea.. very easy to inspect (and show off to mates)

true, and the whole better than a double cardan, would be great for ifs trucks as normal cv start foorking up if ya run them at to much of and angle.I like the no dust boot idea.. very easy to inspect

A good, strong, constant-velocity joint that can operate at decent angles is has a lot of good points for us... it could even make IFS good!

they never mention max angle but all they seem to test is at is 8 dregress, wonder how it will hold up at 30.

) but I understand the definition. I haven't read too much else, because I can't afford one so I don't care that much. 
*I also believe its primary application is industrial plant and machinery, not offroad vehicles. Its potential to simplify (and reduce the cost of) industrial equipment (through permitting simpler designs which are cheaper to develop, manufacture and maintain) is awesome!
