It depends on what size the shocks are.
RS9000 is the model number.
They are all different lengths

You need to measure the open length while at full flex. No one can tell you what you need as it depends on the brand of spring and the spring rate etc.

Normally you would match the lenght of shocks to the springs.

BUT in general terms 6" front would be about 620mm rear 800mm.

ah so you could get a rs9000 to suit a lift to whatever size ?

herm how on to moving mounts?......

obviously the higher you go with a mount the longer shock you can run and then you have to bolt in your springs so they dont pop out rite?..

i think i would need to also extend all the arms on the rear diff or go A frame to suport this so there is no binding going on..

There isnt much wrong with the current setup in the GQ for the rear.

I would just measure up as suggested then chuck em in. Dont bother moving the shock mounts as your springs will fall out before your shocks max out if you get shocks that are big enough

the strive for more articulation.....

i dont care about springs i can bolt them in or get ones that are 7-8" soft and let them sag down a little back to 6" maby 5"

so i get better articulation..
i may be on the compleatly rong track here tho :P
