Hey guys I am looking at buying a 62 series what something that is reliable but yet econimical to run for a 4wd. It is to be used 40% off road and 60% on road what would be better a HJ62 or a FJ62 on duel fuel/straight gas. Also what is the average fuel usage of both. Thanks Guys.

no such thing as a HJ62, its HJ61 (factory turbo) or HJ60 (even late model quad headlight HJ60 is HJ60)

turbo diesel is always a very sought after vehicle. They are going to be high in K's though which means a rebuild is on the cards. Much dearer to rebuild a 12HT than it is to rebuild a 2F(3F FJ62)

dual fuel or straight gas is going to be cheaper to buy and run.. the old 2f's go forever (but your getting a 3f... they should still be reliable). and more power than the diesel boys
