GQ/Mav SWB Engine Transplant: 4.2 Petrol to Deisel/Turbo ???

Guys,

I have a 1991 SWB Mav and it currently has a 4.2 Petrol Carby under the hood. Want to exchange this for a 4.2 Diesel then add Turbo or just drop in a 4.2 Turbo Diesel.

Any Ideas to help me:

PM GiantRacing for price on engine, he had a turbo diesel while back $8k i think it was.

Any advice would be appreciated...

sell the petrol one and buy a diesel one maybe cheaper.

i have fitted a 6.5 to my patrol, this has worked out real good. mark adapator kit and a bit of custom work, this is a great convertion.
