exhaust size

hi i've got a 2002 hilux turbo diesel 1kz-te 3ltr . just wondering what size exhaust and dump pipe to run on this and what sort of difference this would make to power and fuel consumption .

2.5" mandrel bent. No cat. No muffler.

Breathe much easier and will reduce turbo lag. Will give it some balls and a much better sound.

I'd have to say that no muffler and no cat would sound like a wet fart on steroids bolted up to a diesel...

Oh yeah, and theres an exhaust Tech thread which i think this would fit perfectly in ;)

having a four cylinder TD and having done this you're spot on ;)

Had to fit a resonator at the back, the drone at cruising speed was atrocious without it. (3" system)
