thanks mate,

yeh the son of trials is a gymkhana/motorkhana/funkhana type event, nothing thats going to break the car, more things like

- a whole track in reverse
- round and round a track
- golf ball on the bonnet in a plate
- knocking golf balls off sticks
- putting a wheel up on a stump
- blind fold

and yeh most of the courses are closest to the time, or times, or points, was more of an accuracy thing than full on hardcore driving, awesome fun though

Are there any similar events to Son of Trials? I desparately want to compete in something, but don't want anthing too hardcore.
Everything suitable seems to be held at LCMP or in Victoria
Missed out on Son Of Trials this year, but next year I'm ssoooo there! :P

yeh spimon,

for sure, probably the two in syddas that will suit our kinda style comps, would be:

- Son of Trials (March)
- Black Rat (Easter Long Wkend im poretty sure)

both aboutt he same, blackrat maybe a little more chance of damage....depends i guess

son of trials was fun though

Oh sweet! I'm not affraid of a few battle scars. Just really want to keep the shiney side up!
Is it right that Blackrat Challenge is only open to club members of affiliated 4wd clubs?
I have been meaning to join a club for a while. Probably should get onto it soonish.
