Ok then, I am curious. Does ANYONE on this list have a F series Rocky/Fourtrak/Rugger with Detriot Lockers, or any other type of locker fitted. Im not talking about those who have transplanted Hilux diffs, nor those who have welded their diffs up, but real aftermarket locking differentials in their Daihatsu diffs. I have two. Am I the most fortunate Daihatsu owner in the world????
You have gold. Everyone on this site has been looking for lockers.
I wouldnt advertise the fact you have lockers, you will make the rest of use jealous. ................or better yet tell me about your lockers and were your rocky is parked at night.
If I wanted to Play it safe I would Have Stayed at home

Sorry to disappoint you Skyzic, but the Australian Rocky isn't the same as the US Rocky.....you wanna Feroza !!
And it's a real looooooooooooooooong way from the US to Aust to nick some Detroits !!
I keep Feroza and Rocky confused, Why the hell didnt Daihatsu just keep the name the same from country to country.
Well anyway I still plan on doing a SAS so why worry.

I had a mate with a 2.8 TD Rocky (1st gen frp top), he had the front diff modded to accept a detroit (not sure what the details were). There is a rear detroit available even for the early F series variants - F20 upwards. I think even the lockrite was available at one stage as well for the rear.
Well here you guys go, have a look at the fitment availability on this site. I have emailed them for price and availability. I will post the answer when I get it.
