I hav Fj73 MWB 1988 and the starter moter has shat its self i have two questions?
1. whats the difference between straight drive and reduction drive?
2. whats in my truck?
i have the 3f petrol engine 5sp box

You will have the reduction type as do all the 3F cruisers as well as the last of the 2F's from about '83 on.
