I have a Uni-chip in my Gu 4.5 Duel Fuel.
i fitted a Dual-map Uni-chip so petrol and lpg could be inhanced by the chip.
i also have pacemaker extractors 2.5 inch sytem and a uni-filer.
the Uni chip was the best inhancement out of all the others.
My truck at he time with all its gear on with 35inch claws after the chip fitted it dynoed @ 81 Kw at the rear wheels.
before the chip it was 65Kw, but it is the way it preforms all through the rev range ( instant throttle response and continues to pull well beyond 4000 rpm).
i cannont say it improved my econamy because i drove it harded because it preformed so much better, but i am sure if you drove the same as befor the chip it would have to be better on ecomany.

Grant.

PS i am about to pull my Uni-chip out of mine and sell it seperate.

What are the chips worth second hand. Wouldnt it cost about the same to put an aftermarket computer in with better results.

The one Big plus about the Uni-Chip is that it is a add-on to the original super reliable ECU computer, gives about (dont quote me) 208 programable positions along the rev range, so the firing of the ignotion can be optimized.
and if the chip does die ( which i have not herd of) while you are in the middle of no where, it can be un plugged and bridged it out to run on the original nissan ECU computer.
the Place that fitted mine gave me the pin outs to do this if it eva became necassary.

Cheers Grant

Spoke with APS (Air Powered Systems) the other day and i asked if the Chips were indervidual for each model car?
He said no the uni chip will suit many cars in the samilar era, they are just set up once installed to suit the differnt vehical makes.

So they are transferable to difference model and makes.
