Fridge Mounting
Hi
I was just wondering how people have mounted their fridges. I have a patrol ute and was wondering what the best way would be to mount my 40ltr waeco in the tray . I have gone through the search function and not managed to find much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
cheers

Re: Fridge Mounting
Use a fridge slide, mounted to the floor... it alreay has the mounts for the fridge, and mounts to bolt to the floor.. it would be easiest, even though you wouldnt need the slide.cuzza wrote:Hi

I uses bushranger load tracks, and wired a flush mount hella plug next to it to plug into, worked verry well and I also had a zippered setion sewed into he tounne (sp) so i just had to unzip that section to get to the fridge
If the above post did not offend you in any way please PM me so I can try harder!!
Thanks for the replies guys. I was just thinking that given i did not need the fridge to slide, that there may be a chaeper way to mount the fridge as i am a poor uni student.
Tiny, how much do the bushranger load tracks cost? Also how much did the tounne cover cost as I was thinking about getting one made up, because it is a pain in the arse driving around with the canopy on in peak hour traffic.

The tounne was done with the tray and everything, I got two made up, one that went over the top hoop at the back of the tray near the cab and came down on an angle, that had two zippered sections, the other one was flat and had the one zippered section over the fridge.
find a local canvass place, no nead to get a fancy one made up, but they will be able to gve you an idea on prices using different materials, mine was in a gold colour near the same colour of the flares, tray and bull bar and was pretty pricey

Thanks for the offer mate, but i had a look at it and i think it looks pretty flimsy. I might be wrong though as i only looked at it on the site. I also want to put a piece of rubber matting under the fridge to give it some cushining, so I assumed the mounting kit would not work. I think i might go for the u bolts with the ratchet/cam buckle straps. thanks for all the replies.
