I have done a search on tihs with no reply but i was wondering where the hell is the engine number located on the engine on a SWB TD42 GQ and how are you to tell what year the engine is from as im thinking of turboing

LHS front of block. You can't tell what year though short of having the nissan program or ringing nissan.
