nitrogen regulator what type do most people use when gasing air shocks?
I have one but it dosn't seem to have enough capacity as it won't charge the shocks above around 600-700 kpa.
Also what do people use for a quick release fitting to gas them up baecauce i seem to be losing alot of gas when taking the fill hose off.
I know these are dumb questions but surly someone has had the same problem.
by the way I'm using a BOC nitrogen reg.

Mine is a 2000 kpa regulater with a 1000psi fill hose and a round tire chuck fitting.

I'm wondering were you got the 2000 kpa reg? do you lose much gas when regasing them as in when you undo the hose?

are they a reg or just a gauge? what sort of fitting's do they have for the shock end? tryed seaching on the arb site could not find any pic's.

just go to someone like BOC and buy a reg for the right pressure range.
I had the same problem with my rear shock on my kx500 after i rebuilt it could only get 50psi into it with the reg i had (requires 110psi from memory) so i had to go down to the bike shop to get the last bit topped up and they just had a push on style tyre valve connector.
Also few years ago they changed the fitting on nitrogen bottles and you had to get another bottle fitting to put on your reg. We found this out when we had a crucible full of molten aluminium and went to connect the new bottle to degas it. very c*nty had to race down and get the adaptor so we could start casting.
