ZD 30 intercooler

Post by awill4x4 »

I have recently been contacted by someone who has a problem with a leaking ZD 30 intercooler. This isn't an uncommon occurence as I have heard similar stories from various forums.
As I'm a specialist Tig Welder and have done some intercooler work in the past I suggested to him that we should both try to get hold of an old ZD 30 I/cooler that has been replaced due to the same problems he has experienced. If we can get hold of one I could get a custom I/cooler core made up by PWR or Adrad and then use the standard endtanks off the ZD 30 intercooler and solve his problems.
If anyone has an old ZD 30 I/cooler sitting in their shed they may like to sell it would help me get this guys Patrol running smoothly again.
Regards Andrew.
We are Tig welders, gravity doesn't worry us.
