cutting rear wheel arch on a 4 door

Post by mudtrooper »

I've just finished doing up my 88 rangey 4 door. We fitted a 350 chev engine to it. go's a lot better. having trouble with tyres rubbing on wheel arch. don't want to do a body lift, it has 3'coils with 30mm spaces running 33s. we have cut frount guards but need help with rear ones. has any one cut them before, or has pics. :)

I cut my rear wheel arch out and replaced with new bigger ones....

one problem..... after doing the mod both my rear doors have stopped working as i have weakened the body in a serious way... just do a 1" body lift or extend yr bump stops

Check out my pic in the "post up your rovers" section. I have 33" muds with a 3" coil and 2" body.

A body lift is relatively easy...to me it was easier then trying to modify the rear guards.

Cheers
