Land Rover Discovery Series II Td5 ECU chip upgrade.

Post by dantd5 »

G'day, has anyone had any experience - and/or problems - with series II Td5's and an upgraded ECU chip?

DanTD5,

Define problems? I have the chip and intercooler from Davis Performance and it is great. I did have to wind back the boost slightly as occassionally it would overboost and pause. After winding back the boost it performed much better.

Note the Boost was upped during the install and "Much Better" means bl##dy marvelous with enough grunt to shock most people if required. Highway cruising is now really cruising.
