does anyone no if a mid 90's 80series landcrusier gearbox fit into a 85 hilux?

thinking of this for engine conversion.

with a 2 inch body lift and a big enuf hammer ull get anything in there:P

to be honest im not sure but you do realise that the transfer rear output on the 80 is offset and wont suit a hilux diff?
i kno there is a few newer lux around running h150's tho

If it's strength you're after you won't find better than the V6 4Runner 5speed (R150F) they can take a V8 without flinching.

If you are talking about an auto, got no idea...

On ebay at the moment, is a r154 from a 1hz 100 series, part time transfer and all for 400 bux
