hey guys i just wanted to know some info but chopping a swb gq patrol into a styleside ute
i live in port macquarie nsw so if any one knows of a good place to get it done please let me know ... any help wood be great

all u need is a rear wall made with window and bolt it into the old canopy holes and then fabricate a lip along the bottom and bolt thru i am doing a similar thing but making a kingcab out of a shorty mk but im goin to run a tray not a styleside

rock rover gq shorties have a full steel top unlike mq/mk's
TRBO42 with the risk of sounding like everyone else on here
use the search function 10% of the topics posted this year have been in regards to cab chops. there is more info that you could ever need on here

I've nearly finished cutting mine GQ patrol into a dual cab and have pics of the hole process up until welding it all together. I'm hoping to have it all finished by the end of September.
I work in a smash shop & this is the first one we have attempted but to give you an idea of prices & time.
Id say there will be about 100 hours in labour from chopping it to painting it & putting it back together. So you would be looking at $5000 to $7000 finished or you could just get it welded up for about $3000 and finish it off yourself.
