Rear Bar

Post by ToNkA »

Going to removing the TJM rear bar I have on the lux (twin bar thing with step) and putting in its place a single bar with a wrap around and each end.

I think Dave (gold runner) has one on his truck, and bubs was doing something similar at some stage.

Anyway, I am going to just cut the old bar off and use the mounts it had for the new bar, to make the job nice and simple.

My question is, what do I do for rear recovery points?
Whats the best type?
Where and how do I mount them in this set up?

bit hard to see from the pic.....
A simple hook bolted to the chassis rail may be the ticket.... can you pickup the rail under the bar????
