Adjusting Adjustable Panhard

Post by DIDZ »

Placed 2 adjustable panhard rods on my swb gq about 18 months ago (3rd's) Noticed lately that rear tyre is creeping out the guards a little on the left hand side, Q? How to adjust back to centre? & Is this something that should be a re-currence?

Thankyou..

If the suspension has dropped the wheels will sit back over to the left.

Undo the locking nut(s), remove one end of the rod from the car, screw the rod in to shorten it a little bit, refit to car, drive down road and back, measure distance from tyre to chassis on both sides, if unequal readjust until correct. Dont forget to retighten the locking nut.

Job done, very easy. :D
