ANYBODY WHO HAS OWNED OR MODIFIED THESE CARS PLEASE GIVE ME SOME TIPS AND HINTS ON WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT TO DO.

I AM PUTING HILUX DIFFS FRONT AND REAR WITH A 2 INCH LEAF LIFT. I AM ALSO DOING A SHACKLE REVERSE ON THE FRONT AND EXTENDING THE SHACKLES IN THE REAR. IT WILL HAVE A 2.5 INCH BODY LIFT WITH A SET OF 35 INCH MUD TYRES WITH WILL BE ON CUSTOM OFFSET RIMS. ANY HELP ON WHAT TO DO WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Scat = poo, the the Scat is a nice truck, provided it doesn't have too much rust. I know people have put 253's and 3.8l V6's in 'em. But yeah, post in the Daihatsu section, they're are a couple of guys there that have done some good stuff with 'em.

with my old one i just cut the gurds and slaped i set of 35" extreams on it and a snorkel and it was unstopable utill the day i hit some prick's drive way with out a tray on it and went fish tailing down the road at 110kmh over a 5ft drop and end for ended it and over side way's. the only prob i had with it realy was i keped busting front drive shafts on it. but hell it's all good as the next day i seen the light and got a patrol. but like they said go to the Daihatsu section

Anyone still have spare final drives?
I heard they are a direct bolt on to a Daihatsu Rocky F85.
Then i've 4.8 instead of hopless 3.9
