IF I USE A TURBO 700 IN MY FJ40 WHICH YEAR/MODEL SHOULD I USE - I KNOW THE LATER ONES NEED A COMPUTER TO LOCK UP THE CONVERTOR - ANYONE HELP!!

The vn-vp used the T700 full mannual tranny i think, VR on use the 4L60E which requires input from a computer.

Give Marks adaptors a buzz or Dellow. They make adaptor kits and may give you the good oil.

from memory you can by a solo computer for the later model t 700's, which will enable the torque convertor to stall and select overdrive.
dellows would be the guy's to ring.
