Simple post to aquire others thoughts...
Love my 60series, but since buying a dirtbike, im sick of always hooking up the trailer to cart it around...
So thinking of killing two birds and getting a 4x4 ute that i can still go 4bying when need be, and can carry the bike without the need for a trailer...
Power is the only thought in my mind. The 2h is no power house, but i love it and it would pull my 60 up anything as long as i wasnt in a rush. wouldnt want anything slower, would a diesel lux feel slower than my diesel cruiser... WOuldnt mind a 1hz in a 75series?
Would be good to get thoughts on the following... (bearing in mind i am yet to actually drive either...)
Am 183cms tall, will a hilux single cab/75series be uncomfortable?
Want to run 33's. Should make it more stable offroad? (width)
Like the '93 shape, but also the gen 2 shape is not bad either. Any advantages of either?
Do gen 2's have two piece tailshafts like the gen 3's?
Appreciate any thouhts from owners of either.

hmm a lux will probly feel slower than ur 2h if it's a deisel , the 75 will feel very similay to ur 60 u sit up high with the same interior and truck like comforts. in the lux u seem to sit kind of low and is very car like but much easyer to make realy capable offroad.

Matey go the 75 if you are not fussed on having a dual cab. Only reason i went the Lux was because i needed the dually otherwise i would have the 75

I am taller and have been in the single cab without troubles; but i would recommend the extra cab if you want to put in some nice bucket seats for comfort and you can lower the seat height too
To increase the width on mine i got the IFS rear axle (drum to drum) and the front (1.5" each side) hub spacers this makes front and back track widths match up. Bigger wheels are nice to get the diffs off the ground to

Hilux - easy to mod, shitloads of spares, cheaper to buy..
as a proud HI-LUX owner ied hav to say go the lux! i know they arnt tha speedy car but cab hight is lower ground clearance is generly higher tha a crusier of the same lift and are tops for jus goin out and havin a play oh i believe low range is lower than a crusier.... please correct me on that good for the crawl, i run 33's and it gose fine! and is relatievely comfortable was said to be betta than a commo on dirt rodes

75's seem to hold their $$$ pretty well hey.a bit too dear i think.Lux's are good in a lot of ways,fun truck and relatively cheap. But...your cruiser will be as quick with a trailer as a lux without.The hills kill my poor lux
sierra truggy,37 sticky treps,propane,6.5s and disconnect,lux diffs with spools,16" fox shox,hydro steer.
