Leaky Alternator
Leaky Alternator
No sig line pics please.
There is an oil seal built in to the back of the Alternator casing (well on a GQ Hitachi Alternator anyway) You need to seperate the halves of the alternator to replace this oil seal. It seals against the rotor shaft--you might need a speedy sleeve if rotor shaft is badly scored, or new seal will leak as well..
