My missus works at Everything GPS at 202 victoria rd Rozelle and has offered all OL members a discount on most of the stock.
So If you are interested in GPS systems go and say hello and see what you can get.
They also sell stuff for boats like sounders and plotters, steros etc if it has a lcd screen and is bling its there

Been looking at getting a portable car style 3.5" one rather than a handset - could see it being more useful outside of just 4bying.

They will be able to get what you want.

I borrowed one the other week it was the top of the range navman nuvie
and thought it was great the only thing that is a must for all us here on OL is that you need to get one that can plot tracks on it as you find them.
The nuvie had a few tracks on it but not all I think the program it had only had gazetted roads on it

Meet the boss today and had a chat the web site will be on in about 2 weeks. And they have everything like uhf, stereos,DVDs,pocket pc s for cars and boats
