SOA engineers certificate - NSW

Post by Screwy »

Hey all,

Wondering what the rules are for an SOA on an MQ in NSW with regaurds to getting it engineered. Wat do they check etc.
Also can u get certificates for one section of the car (i.e the SOA) or does it have to be the whole car??
How much do u reckon they cost also.

Cheers,

Screwy

Theres a guy in Newcastle area, (Garden Suburb) very good, $260 for the engineers cert and thats it! Doesnt matter how many items are certified. So might aswell get every little thing done, regardless of how minor you think it is. A mate just had his done
seat
wheel/tyres
shackles
bodylift
compressor/accumulator
water tank
bar
spotties
260 dollars!
I can find his details if ya want?

Every enginner i have spoken to will not pass extended shackles.
And to get anything engineered now,it has to be done by an RTA approved engineer,Not just any engineer.
If you need an RTA approved engineer,I have a guy in the Cardiff that does all my work, and is very good and very reasonable in his prices.
