Hey all,
i've been eyeing off the XL7 16x7" Alloys for awhile now, and found a set in the local secondhand rim dealer. I was having a look and it was obvious that the offset is significantly less than my sunnies.
I have two sets of rims, 26" road tyres and a seperate set (30"muds) for weekend fun.
Now i wouldnt mind trading in the 26"s (with cash diff.) for the XL-7's, and put some street rubber on there to drive around on during the week, but somehow i think the offset isn't going to work. The stock sierra rims have probably the same amount of offset, but are a 5" wide rim.
I can get hold of 8mm spacers, but would it make much difference?
Your Thoughts?
Cheers
Jayden

Not sure if there will be a similarity but I swapped my Sunnies, 2" bigger offset over stock on my Coily over for my mates 16" alloys running AT's from his V6 Vitara LWB. There was clearly a difference between the offsets but his fit on mine fine. Assuming the offsets are the same from the V6 LWB (96) and the XL7, you'll be sweet.
