so i ended up getting the bracket welded by dads mate yesterday, and fitted it all up. It looks a bit messy but thats just cos the wiring is too long at the moment. Ill shorten it up soon. Dont know how its working quite yet, had to drop it into the mechanics this morning, having trouble with the transfer pissing out any oil thats in it
heres some pics. its a bit different to most others that do it, they usually run it along the firewall. I had mine like that the fisrt time round but i found it didnt sit low enough to clear the bonnet. This way works a treat and is very strong also.

thanks scott,
im pretty happy with it, its not totally done yet, going to take it back out and do a few things, and putting some sort of heat shield there is one of them. The biggest pain in the arse is getting behind the firewall behind the glovebox iv got the three bolts that secure that end tab to the firewall, im pretty happy with it though, its all real nice and neat and looks good, didnt have to move the carbon cannister, isolator mounted up to already existing thread in the side quarter, went together relatively pain free.
