Hmmm, and just when I was thinking of doing all the research on an engine swap!!!

I can't even express how frustrating it is as the emoticons don't work :) (see)

Oh well.

Bible will work fine, but the links contained in it need to be corrected after the server change. Dunno if its worth the effort though, we still get the same questions asked cause people dont look there anyway

I know the bible is the source of most of my information. I basically did all my mods like install and webber tune etc etc through the bible.

IMO, definately worth keeping, and besides, it's easier to say "see this link" to anyone who asks then repeat all the info!!!!!

Sierra Bible rules! It is the most comprehensive source of sierra mod information on the net and would be a shame to lose the links. It's also a pain in the backside to do a "search" for all the posts when you need the info, and it's super hard to actually find what you are looking for.

I would imagine the post numbers are still the same, but is there any way we can just copy and paste some part of the link (ie the phpbb2 bits) for it to work? I tried copying the new file location extension into the old links but it didn't work.

If the posts still exists then there must be a way to get to them through the URL?

I know this is stating the obvious but just in case someone didnt realise... to get the links to work, remove the "PHP_Modules" part of the address once it is opened in another window.

e.g.

http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modul ... hp?t=52688

becomes....

http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/phpBB2/vi ... hp?t=52688

Wasn't Bloody obvious to me!!!! Hehehehe, nah I tried cutting and pasting bits and pieces out of the link etc etc, for some reason I didn't try that!

Mate you're a legend, thanks very much.

Maybe a temp notice should be placed above the links lettinf people know that they can access it this way for the time being?
