charged battery, tried 2, booster jumped off 1, jump started of a running car, rotated the crank twice, checked all fuses and cleaned and checked all terminals to starter motor, turn the key, nothing............ release the key....... 'click'.
Does this have something to do with the starter motor or the flow of electricity itself, and, how do i overcome this delema to get ignition.

What about the earth path? Earth return from the starter motor is typically through engine block to chassis/battery negative. Did you clean and tighten all those connections?
Next step, belt the starter motor a couple times and try again. If it starts now, you need new brushes. The "click" is probably your solenoid, so it's unlikely to be the problem.
