Nissan dealer parts

Post by chimpboy »

I'm doing some work for a guy who has just bought a Nissan dealership in Melbourne. He is the sort of person who loves to make deals, so while I haven't raised it yet (I'll finish the work first), I think he'd probably be open to some kind of Outerlimits order for parts.

Anyone want to suggest the parts that are most often best bought from a dealer rather than repco etc? If we can narrow it down to a couple of lines, next step would be to work out who would seriously want them, then get his price on the volume.

No guarantees that he will actually be cheap enough but I think there's a decent chance he will be.

Or am I just creating too much work for myself here?

PS he also owns Kia and Hyundai dealerships if that's any help to anyone!

For GQ/GU, I'd probably say suspension bushes - Radius arm bushes, rear control arm bushes, etc.. Maybe the original rubber body mounts?

I'll be needing to get all these pretty soon.

The cupholders that go in the centre console and the bonnet adjusters are always on ebay.

Price wise, it would be good to get trade price

decent price on body rubbers would be sweet since there doesn't seem to be any aftermarket ones available.
