Hi guys I noticed a device on my front diff (IFS) in between the diff and passenger side Axle tube.
It has two vacuum lines and two electrical leads in it.
I gather that it has something to do with the auto hubs but I can't see how.
Can anyone enlighten me as to how it works, because I don't like not knowing how something on the truck works.
Cheers Struth

Not only can they stuff up.... they just do not always lock even when "operating correctly".
Not sure about changing them..... My SR5 has standard manual hubs. I would have thought you would just disconect the auto system, block off the vacuum and fit manual hubs courtesy of your local wrecker. But I would wait for futher advice.
