Looking for any info on some long range fuel tanks for a SWB Maverick/Patrol. Any one know of a supplier in Brisbane?? Experiences??

Long Range Automotive (LRA) have always had good products, in my experinces anyway...........

I agreee with you pongo.
I bought one from them to suit my surf. The moment I got it home it did not seem to fit right. Within the first four weeks of mounting the tank, everytime I filled up about 3 litres of diesel leaked onto the ground. Well to cut a long story short, the filler pipe had to be rewelded becaused it had cracked, a section of the rear of the car had to be cut out and I had to completly redesign the fuel filler Y junction.
I have since found out that other people have had the same problems.
DO NOT BUT ANYTHING FROM 4WDSYSTEMS.

Make sure what ever tank you buy is baffled(sp) well..Mine is a complete pain in the ass,when the tank is low left hand turns are a problem..I also bought mine from a reputable company..
