We were getting funny looks from the people on the street when we did this. I think they were wondering why we were trying to tip over a Rangie.

if it is possible, would you be able to measure the bumpstop clearences compressed and extended. i would like to know how much this kit can improve my articulation from what it is know. looking at the kit pictures lra has been pretty thorough. looking foward to some real wheeling comments. i reckon you must be pretty keento try it all out.

The pics look great!!

You will still have to try harder at putting more dents in your lete model Rangie like I have done, which are being repaired as we speak courtesey of CGU!!

I'll just have to envy at these little add-ons until I can afford it one day.

Trav

What is this 30% suspension kit?

Yeah its got flex but ive seen rangies with factory springs and a set of longer shocks flex as much as that.

it is supposed to allow 30% more articulation
by including

front and rear adjustable shock mounts with b/line extension brackets
rear a frame spacer
trailing arm bush to chassis mount kicker
spring retainers

i think that is it.....IIRC.....

Now you have done all that shite get a set of slotted bushes off StrangeRover and you will add a few more inches for bugger all,
these are great I can recommed them from my own exerience

You also get the rear shock mount kicker.

The shocks arnt 30% longer they are only 100m longer it's the droop that is 30% more (about 2 inches) rear bushes have kickers that ofset the rear radious arms for a 2 inch lift.... also 2inch drop in the aframe, no need for cranked arms front or rear as they would screw up diff angles (IMHO)

I am very impressed with the kit atm gave it a good test yesterday and the suspension worked a treat.

I must say I got the kit in and am waiting on a few more things but for the price I hope I get better articulation than that :?

Abit worried about being disappointed.

I HOPE NOT

at the moment that is full artick as my 35's rub bigtime on my custom rear bar :x the rear has about 1 1/2 inches to go at the bump stops. Apart from that it's a nice increase with out change the centre of gravity after the 2" body and 2" suspension lift.

How many holes up is your front and rear adjustable shock mounts set at ? ?

You already have a 2" body lift dont you, your 35s should scrub to severly.

by mickrangie
Body lift is YES :D

2 holes from memory can go up 1 or 2 more but will have to bring bump stops down then.

normaly the 35 wouldn't rub too bad  but my rear bar has supports that run to the rear of the chassis so they scrub on those at 3/4 uptravel
