Where can i get this part???

Post by LuxyBoy »

I am chasing the best price on a new fuel filter housing to replace my original (91' Hilux Diesel).
The one i want is the Delphi B503 which takes cartridges 496 and 296.
I have only found it at Diesel Australia for $120.

Does anyone know where else these are sold :?:
I have rung Conventry, Autobarn, other diesel places and i can't find it
Kind Regards,
Brad

Somewhere like Queensland Diesel Spares, or a truck parts place. I got mine at QDS and was about $110ish, but the filters are only about $5 and it has a heap better primer pump than the standard Toyota one.

LHS can't get the housings with a primer in them.

Ended up getting it from Diesel Australia. They were comparative to hiflow.com.au when asked to match price.

Price comparison including GST:
(These are the models numbers for a Hilux LN106 (3L motor))

HiFlow:
Housing B503 =$93.50 + $14 shipped to my door =$107.50
10x 296 Filter = $66 + $14 shipped to my door =$80

Diesel Australia:
Housing B503 =$110
10x 296 Filter = $70

So after 5 or 6 changes it will have paid for itself

If anyone else wants one; speak to Ted and mention the prices and that you are from Outerlimits. I asked him if he minded me posting the price and he said it was fine and he would replicate the price for any other members.

I have no affiliation with Diesel Australia; I just like to see good Aussie companies get rewarded with more sales when they deserve it :)
Kind Regards,
Brad
