suzi fuel tank making or buying
where can i get a fuel tank made or where to buy one from as im doing a gti conversion and i killed my original one
Long Ranger do a tank for zooks that's just a bolt straight on job.
Cost about a grand fully installed, but was 75 litres and gave the zook a HEAP more range.
The bottoms of them are pretty darned tough too.
My original had a massive thump in the middle that like yours would have lost me something like 5 litres (and made it run out of fuel while still reading 1/4 of a tank on the gauge)
The new one got hit just as hard, just as often, but apart from scratched paint on it, there wouldn't have been a few millilitres lost capacity from the tiny amount it indented from the poundings.

I gather you are doing up a Sierra.
You can buy a long range tank but it will stick down further than the orginal tank causing you to hit it more.
You can buy a coily sierra tank which bolts in and has a swirl pot already installed......A vitara tank fits and has internal pump to boot but has to have new mounts made on the chassis.
If you have the space I have a jimny fuel tank with internal pump etc but this has to be fitted above the chassis.......

It is a tank I got off NAM awhile back I have no idea of what it will fit or capacity but it is there for the taking up until the 28th of this month. PM me for details if you want it. It is located in carrum southern bayside suburb of Melbourne
