wat psi should you use for driving on sand?

i got 31's on a 15 rim, on a swb vitara.

Was talking to a guy in South Australia the other day with a Sierra on 30" rubber and he runs 6psi on the sand but then again he drives everywhere in 2wd.

i have 31s on my gv and i run them at 8 and go 2wd most places
Now with locked diff to keep up with rav4s
