Body Swap in NSW
Hey all,
Looking at putting a 74 cruiser body onto a newer chassis.
Does the rego stay as a 1974 or would it be updated to say a 1990??
Can anyone help me with the rules etc on this??
Would it need a newer engine then or not??
anyone had good or bad experiences there any tips??

Toyota ID lettering and numbering is odd, can't get matching stamps.
You'd need to cut and shut the area of the chassis with the numbers, but thast creates strength issues.
Reckon new diffs, as long as your chassis isn't stuffed.
Given it's a 'replacement part' for the car, you could (with the help of an engineer) get away with calling it a replacement part for your car. Have you checked with one?
