failing that
there is a pin at the top of the peddal that holds the master cylinder rod to the peddal, it has a split pin to stop it falling out, my split pin broke and then the pin fell out. only thing i could find to replace it (without unloading a months worth of camping gear to get to spares box) was a bobby pin in my missus head so i took it, sill going strong nearly 2 years now.
failing that
reco/replace master or slave
