Body lift for 2000 patrol wagon

Post by LINKIN »

I've got a mate who is wanting to know of some places and rough prices of where he can get a body lift done on his 2000 GU Wagon. (he lives in BRISBANE)
It currently has 4x41mm adjustable tough dog shocks and a 2" spring lift,
he's looking at getting either a 2" or 4" body lift.
Any info whether it be places of buisness to inquire or do's and don'ts
would be appreciated.

Thanks

Quite a few places dont do GU's as they're worried about the extra weight.
4"s would be too much.
I had a 2" bl on mine together with a 3" suspension which gave it enough clearence for what I needed with the 35's on. There's not much need for more than this except for looks...

4" Body lift  whats he wanna do, put another patrol body underneath it???
Surely 2" would be plenty unless he just wanted it as a show pony :?

When you get such big spring lifts for the Patrols, I don't know why people are still doing bodylifts?

If I did one, it would only be due to the IFS being wound right up with no travel left.. hence you have to install a body lift.
