i am looking at buying a second hand 100 series standard with the ever trusty 1HZ , can any of you toyota fans tell me any good or bad things about them apart from being a BIG ASS RIG , and how good r the LSDs in them some people have told me they give up the ghost pretty quick also looking at a after market turbo like a DTS kit

Make sure you buy one with a live front axle....

Also do a really good search for rust and avoid a "cheaper ex mines" rig if you can.

Really important that it got clean oil at 5000km intervals, as well as air filters etc... WIth a snail they should go just great!!! Happy motoring mate... :)

all 100 series with the 1hz have a live front axle :lol:

1hd- etc designations have the IFS ;)
hands and mums dont count!!!
