replacing the gear set is only a 30min job with it out,1hour if its still in the truck. asuming its only a noisy gear set, would be looking at a complete rebuild though depending on the age

Q: Does it have any rust and is it petrol or diesel, 12/24 volt? Thanks.
12-Dec-06

A: Hi, I belive it has a little bit of rist unsure where, it is a petrol motor and 24 volt, if there is anything else i can help you with feel free to as...

24volt & Petrol motor ..... huh ! :?

& how the hell can anyone be "UNSURE" of where the rust is !

I have a 85MK L28 with a blown head gasket .... complete 4x4 that drives well bar for the head gasket, minimal rust ( excelent doors & tailgate ) that someone could either repair of wreck out for $400 !

Thats better than his "Buy it Now" price of $600
