Need help with wolf 3D eng comp ASAP

I am posting this for a mate who is running wolf 3D on a speedway car 4litre falcon motor.
He has set the RPM cutout for 8500 RPM and for some reason it cuts out at 55000 RPM.
Any ideas what may be causing this???
He is racing it tonight and needs to sort it out ASAP!!!
