but it helps....a 24v winch will pull stronger than a 12v one with a snatchy.
I know some comp doods run 24v on their 12v highmounts :) boy do they winch fast....

Unless you are competing you don’t need to run 24V. There are other upgrades you can do to improve speed and reliability before that. I take it you have a high mount to start with? If so then Albright solenoids, 6HP Warn motor and upgraded wiring will do wonders.
