They will fit just fine, i put an 84 NT hardtop on a 89 WT softtop chassis jsut recently, no problems from memory, rear bar didnt fit tho from neither vehicle.

Oh yeh and some of the wiring was different, no biggie tho, easy to work out. Like the fuel stop solenoid only had one wire on NT, WT has two, so i swapped em from carby to carby. Gearbox had an extra switch, not sure what for, pollution or some crap, just left em disconnected except for reverse switch. Plug shapes were differetn between the two too, you will have to cut and join plugs.

Yeh, the NT bar attatches to chassis, and the WT attatches to body i think, so when i put the NT body on WT chassis, the WT bar had no body to attatch to, and the NT bar had no chassis to attatch to.

Dig.

Would the 89wt S/T body be any different to a 95wt S/T body? What about the dashs?

My mate has a 95wt soft top that i would like to swap with an 84 hardtop. (i would prefer softop, he would prefer hardtop).
But i dont mind having the old dash etc, if we can swap them, as the 84 dash etc would be alot older than his car, so i'd wanna put the newer dash back in the 84 hardtop...
and what about the front grill? compatible/swappable?

89 - 95. all same.

95 - 84, (is the 84 a early 1.3 or 1L) if it is a 1L u will have a few problems as the tranny tunnel is smaller and i beleive some of the mounts are different also. no brake booster either on some i think.

front clip i beleive the same as well. (swappable)
