On a budget and the old air intake in my vitara is worn and crappy was thinkin bout puttin a pod on it but no legal witout a box and heard this isnt good for offroad anyway.
was just wondering is it ok to build a snorkle out of PVC pipe? r there any problems that come with doin this and has anyone done it b4? and does any hav and pics of such a project on any car?

why not go with exhaust pipe? at least that will take a wack where plastic will just shit itself.
have had a 90mm PVC snorkle on my car for a bit more than a year. i put it on because i cant jusify spending so much money on somethign i can do myself when it turns out alright.

when making it i went with the thought of if it breaks, i can replace ti cheap enough to replace... now i have hit this hard into trees, rocks, walls, ect and all that has happend is scratches. with a simple matt black spray can, all is fixed. oh, and the top came off once (got caught on a branch and pulled off.. (not glued, so i can spin it)
