Rear storage Setup I made- False floor

Post by MUD-PIGSIERRA »

Hey guys just thought I would share my latest creation with you and give others ideas if you were thinking of taking this path.

Basically wleded up a frame that bolted in to the back using seat belt bolt holes at the back and new drilled ones at the front. In the near future I will add in a slide out tray that the spare can sit on to allow for more storage again and easier access.

I got the marine carpet $39.95 2m x what ever you like from local BCF and tie loops from Bunnings $3.05.

That looks sweet as mate. Looks chitloads neater than having all your crap floating around in the back and plus the rear door won't get ripped off from your spare

I like your drawer setup thats hopefully what will go on top to the drivers side with mine, the store that sells rollers and fittings is still closed for holiday break so Im yet to fully finish mine of.

The fuel storage is a cool idea but I would like to carry at least 40L so Im making a swing away door outside of the Sierra that will also hold my Dirt Jumper mountain bike.

Hope the First Aid Box and the other thing are bolted through the floor.
It would be ironic to be smashed in the head by a first aid box

But good on ya for having one. Thought I was the only person to carry one.

BTW the shelf looks good
