mate a standard mk radiator is pleanty good enough for a 350 chev as long as u put el falcon twin thermos on. Thats what i have on my mk with a chev and it runs at 75degres all the time even on the beach. Make sure your radiator gets flushed before fitting the v8.

Mate not sure bout the au fans but el ones pretty much go straight on just a tiny bit of trimming and make some brakets to hold them on!! I just used some hoopine strap and a couple of tek screws!! I'll get some pics for you tomorrow. Really it only took me 30 mins to fit.

you dont leave the thermos running all the time do you? i've got au thermos fitted to my commodore and they are wired to a thermo switch which turns them on only when the car gets a bit hot (ie. sitting at the lights) and usually turns it off about 30 seconds later when it gets cool enough.

i got my thermo fans from here http://www.tuffcarparts.com/store/view_ ... %20FPLZW17
they were the cheapest i found.

yer its a davies craig thermo switch. they sell them on that site for 55 but i got it for 47 at the local auto one. you stick a probe into the top hose and it turns the fan on (well activates a really that the fans run through) when it gets to a temp, which you adjust with a little dial. a little bit of wiring but pretty easy. it can also be made to turn the fans on when you turn the ac on.

and some computers (if you were going efi) can run the fans (just like the thermo switch) themselves. the holden v8 5l can but it needs a re-tune as its disabled from the factory as they run a regular fan off the pulley.

EDIT: with the termo switch, you will probably find after putting the probe in it will leak out the top hose. they do give you a little rubber thing but it doesnt work. so just get some gasket sealant stuff that is sensor safe, put some of that on the radiator outlet and wack the hose on. wont leak after that.
