Outback Challenge 2007 Spectator

Post by super zook »

Not sure if this is in the right place,
but being virgin OBC Spectators was just wanting to know how it all works re. Fuel, Food, Accomodation, anything I need to know to be prepared. Also I tried a while ago to book, but the site wouldnt allow me. Would really appreciate any help.

Cheers, Scott.

The plan this year will be similiar to last where a Base Camp will be used whenever possible with other locations used as required. You need to be self sufficient with fuel, food, camping stuff and we travel in convoy to the stages as required.
Basically turn up with a 4wd ready to go camping for a week and travel in convoy to watch some fantastic 4wd action.
Hope this helps

do you have to pay in full for the spectator package or just a deposit? Self sufficient for fuel means the whole week without refills yea? just want to be sure, thanks for all of your help i really do appreciate it.

I have no idea about payment  but can assure you that we be in and out of town as we make our way to comp areas allowing you to top up at Broken Hill, Packsaddle & Menindee. As for Piglets mention about the post OBC trip, I believe details are still sketchy and more will be posted on the organisers web site when they become available.
