Thinking of a bit of a change and buying a hilux i was just wondering what engine mods people have done and the sort of power people are getting out of 2.8 turbo

I red in the 4 sale section either on here or 4wd monthly that a hilux had just been dynoed at 430nm of tourqe,turbo 2.8

Just wait a bit and it will make nothing .. the crank will snap at number one conrod .. radiator side.

sort of off topic but what tyres are people using when they get there cars dyno'ed? as in do ya's change to smaller tyres or leave 35's etc on? may be a silly question

how does a crank snap on the radiator side? i didnt know they had multiple cranks.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

They must have the east/west engine set up :D not the north/south like everyone else.
plenty of parts on the bench
