It´s truth???

Post by macorti »

G Day,

It´s truth that if I have a TD42 stock and I want to change it for a TD42T "the Factory One" I have to replace my clutch kit for a heavy duty one, and besides that I have to change also the exhaust system, air cleaner assy & alternator????

they are the same engine. Mounts etc are all the same.

If you go with the Intercooled version the over engine airbox wont work.

If its just a turbo model - yes the normal over engine box will work

the clutch would be worth changing, not a MUST, but you would be mad not to do it while all apart.

exhaust will need to change where it adapts to the turbo

the alternator should work if its manual to manual, and not changing to auto.
